1996 2.7 compression results …

    Had a Trusted shop do a compression check on my Truck with 122k on her now.

    #3 160
    #4 160

    Not sure what the compression was new but are those good numbers for a 27 year old Tacoma?

    That sounds fine to me. I'm no expert on the 2.7 but generally speaking anything above 150 I would say is good. If one was off by a large amount that would be a worry. 5 psi off isn't a big deal. When I was diagnosing a multiple misfire on my 3.4 all of my cylinders were in the 170 range, one was 180 and one had 0 psi. Turned out to be a stuck valve. However once I fixed the valve issue and put everything back together, she runs like a top.
