I've found that my steering wheel doesn't fully return to center after a turn like other vehicles I've driven, and it requires more "fine tuning" as I drive to continually center the vehicle in the lane. The steering overall feels more stiff than I think it should, is there anything I can do to loosen her up?

These trucks suffer from a lack of caster as is from the factory. This lack of caster is the same thing which prevents the steering wheel from returning to center as easily than most people are used to with normal cars and possibly other trucks.

Anything outside of that is not normal and may need addressing, steering shafts defective rag joints, steering racks, power steering line issues, etc.

The same shit everyone else has.
    More caster.

    Replace the intermediate shaft
