If someone calls you "sunshine" as an endearment, is it ok to call them moonshine in response?

    Thanks Murph :hattip:

Look, I've had problems personally with ethanol gas in small engines.
The worst was cleaning the carb in my Generac generator some years ago.
The gas had not denatured (which you can smell... besides, it had Stabil added and was only in the tank from October to April).
Nevertheless, the generator would not start in Spring until the carb was cleaned.
After that, I started to use ethanol free for all my small engines.

Ethanol gas in vehicles seems to be okay (only talking about personal experience here).
Larger engines, engineered to cope with ethanol gas... and typically the gas gets used up fairly quickly.
    Whatever. I'm no expert :notsure:

OTOH, I'm unsure about motorcycles (and we all know you're a bike rider from way back).
I'm gonna soon take the carb off my 2004 Vulcan and clean it, cuz it's running rough.
It's not so practical to seek out ethanol free gas when you need gas for your bike... like right now.
And around here, it's not unusual for motorcycles to sit all Winter, and I'm not into riding in the cold anymore.
Despite putting Stabil in the tank last Autumn... problems now.

    The subject is, however, controversial.
Many claim that the problem is overstated.
Others disagree, so there you are.

Uhh, no! Not in the south anyway! ‘Dawlin’’ and ‘sunshine’ are often used down yonder. I would say flip them on each other. If they call you sunshine, you call em dawlin and vice versa.
In New Orleans, a common salutation is ‘Where y’at?’ Proper response is ‘doin alright’. Local dialects are cool. Sometimes fascinating.

Yeah - I had a bunch of thick, bacon style, strips of pork belly leftover from a Lunar New Year work party

Put a spicy dry rub on em - chipotle/brown sugar kinda thing + vinegar mop and cooked em slow, till the fat rendered off -
Then I glazed them with soy/maple/dk brown sugar/some spices and put them under the broiler till it crisped/candied up = smoky, salty, sweet

I didn't have bbq sauce so I kinda made something up and it worked great
