Im a big fan of micarta handles and that blade shape..it looks like a higher end Boker but the flat grind is different…looks thin and slicey

    Sure I'll play.

Razorlite EDC because it's cheap, sharper than a box cutter, and I don't have to maintain it.

Generic Amazon flashlight by the door.

It’s a giant mouse /ace knife. Em way better quality craftsmanship in my opinion. Have had a few and love every one. M390 blade great action., nice grind can’t go wrong with the price. Ace is there more “budget” friendly line. It’s hard to catch a stock on a giant mouse they go fast

Okay, since this thread is semi-on track:

Two Petzl Tikka Headlamps with a bunch of fresh extra AAAs and a Leatherman Super Tool 300. I find wearing a headlamp is best, and I always need more than a knife anyway.

Streamlight Stylus Pro. It’s cheap (about $21.00 on Amazon), nice and small, and plenty bright.

I always have a knife on me (Spyderco Paramilitary 2), so I do t leave one in the truck.

Benchmade Adamas. Served me for over 20 years active duty and it worked well for more than slicing open mre packs. Saved my life more than once. It’s a bit expensive but lifetime service comes with it. And no I wasn’t a cook.

This is very small and rechargeable. It’s not super bright, but it easily fits in my pocket next to my knife, so I carry it everywhere.

Big fan of the Emisar lights, and Hank himself is a pretty active member in the flashlight community.

Emisar D4 if you want short reach and high power, D4S if you want more runtime and don't mind the bigger size. Some amazing colors and materials (Titanium and copper, colored Ti, etc) and some cool features in the control (colored secondaries, lightning mode, customization). Depending on the LED you pick can go over 4000 lumens. Be careful, this literally can (and WILL) set your pocket on fire.
D1 if you want the same pocket light but more reach.
D8 if the D4 isn't enough for you
    or
D18 if you want to carry a small sun around.
