Where to find body parts?

Where do you guys get your body parts? I'm looking for a hood, grill with surround and a couple others. All searches I've tried really haven't come up with much

 

New or used? If you want new, parts.toyota.com
Used, check your local FB marketplace or junkyards. There's always stuff popping up on mine like bedsides, quarter panels, etc.

Or if you meant human remains, take a dive off the end of certain piers in the Hudson River

 

I thought this was going to be a thread for serial killers.



I would shop by phone when looking for new body panels. I just bought a new hood for a 2022 Mazda - and the real weird part was that a collision shop who bought it from a dealer, was actually cheaper than going directly to the same dealer.

It also depends on whether you want to have it all paint matched or if you are just going to harlequin it.

Some sites will sell you body parts from donated corpses if you have the proper documentation and licenses however if you're looking for more livestock types of parts local ranches and some butches can provide parts for pretty cheap if not free.

 

it's probably best to use local dealers, body shops, or salvage yards. Boxing, shipping, and probability for damage are high. If you buy through your local dealer, or wherever, inspect thoroughly before you accept delivery, once you leave,,, it's yours, you have one chance to refuse.
