I have no problems with a Pixel 7 / Peak Design case and the wireless charging pad. Having a switch for the pad is odd to me, but whatever.

I turned off LDA immediately and turned the PCS sensitivity down as low as possible.
I don't have BSM or park assist.
I didn't touch traction control. My last vehicle was AWD and the only times traction control kicked in it either helped or it didn't matter bc I was on ice skates already. Maybe the 4WD trac control will feel different/worse? I haven't had it kick in yet to find out. Easy enough to use the switch for the rare trip off-roading.
Radar cruise bleeds speed too early and too aggressively for my tastes, but now that I realize you can do traditional CC by just holding the button down longer, I'll leave that alone too for the occasional time I'm too lazy to drive NJ style.

it's well documented that not wearing a seatbelt in the case of an accident causes more injuries. regardless of fault, your decision in the case of an accident just means increased medical insurance costs for everyone. but depending on the incident, it's also standard fare that if the other person is at fault, they assume full fault for your injuries sustained, despite many of those injuries in this case brought on by your own decisions.

i'm ok with anyone that doesn't want to wear a seatbelt/helmet, as long as they waive their rights to sue anyone for their injuries.

All states have helmet laws except Iowa, Illinois, and New Hampshire...OP really wants to emphasize the "Die" in the latter state's motto apparently.

Some people can’t think that far ahead.

Or, possibly, just don’t care about anyone else.

Good riddance to the door chime when the keys are in the ignition.

unscrewed that black screw, pulled the plastic housing, then used a tiny screwdriver and released the wire harness plug. Pushed it down and put the plastic housing back in and put the screw back in. Such a relief not to hear that anymore.

no they do not. Colorado does not have a motorcycle helmet law. The motorcycle community banded together here and protested and wrote letters and called and raised hell over it. It died in the legislature.

They're limited, but you do have helmet laws.

    "
    Protective Gear
Helmets: Although helmets are proven to save lives, riders age 18 and over are not required to wear helmets in Colorado. However, if the motorcycle operator or passengers are under age 18, they must wear DOT-approved helmets.

In 2006, 65% of fatally injured motorcycle riders were not wearing a helmet in states without all-rider helmet laws, compared with only 13% in states with all-rider helmet laws. (NHTSA, 2007)

Eye Protection: In Colorado, some form of eye protection is legally required for all riders-drivers and passengers. The best eye protection comes from a visor on a helmet. Goggles or eyeglasses with lenses made from safety glass or plastic are also acceptable. A windshield is not considered adequate eye protection.

I'm glad all you no-helmet anti-protection morons have your selfish definition of freedom. Can I have the freedom to not see another smeared SQUID carcass on a backroad? Because you wearing safety gear when you beef it will make that happen. Thanks.

    Back on topic.
I turn off the seatbelt alarm in my cars by putting on my damned seatbelt.

Better to turn it off in the electronics, this also disables the dome lights and other things
