DE Meet-Up Continuation from Philly Cheesesteak-over (June 24, 2023)

Meeting at Crabby Dicks in Delaware City around 1pm-ish on Sat June 24, 2023

Meet involves taking a tour (If you want to) of Fort Delaware at 10 or 11am and meet up afterwards at Crabby Dicks. Ferry Ride and Entrance is $12.

I'm glad you read my post and I hope it all works out so you can be with us.

This week, I had time to draft a sign-in sheet so I can update who joined this meet as well as any other tidbit of information like who did TW Express to get my honeycomb grill to Mike @Backdoc.

I've got some parts to bring and possibly sell and take note of who took what.

Anyhow, just a quick blurb since it's almost June!

Good point. I’m sitting in VA nursing home in Butler, Pennsylvania with my father in law who is dying. It’s humbling looking at the pictures of these veterans from when they were in their prime and seeing them lying in these beds as old men.

 

I had the same experience with my Grandfather. Humbling is a very good word. My thoughts are with you and your family.

 

Also, I’m gonna try to make it to this. Not sure if I can yet but I’ll do my best.

If I can make it I will probably also be flying solo, but only because the wife doesn’t enjoy truck stuff too much.

 

Would any of you guys/gals want a dog ramp for the truck? Asking $50; I paid $80 new. I can bring it with me if someone wants it.

It’s in great shape… I went on a cross country trip and forgot to bring it so I had to buy a new one while on the road and I have no use for two of them.

It’s plastic and folds in half for storage.
