    We did a night in Dinosaur on Saturday, and it was mid 60s at night and last night in Walden and it was low 30s. The difference in 4900 vs 9400 feet. Early Summer in Colorado is fun to plan.

    Heading out to Moab Thursday evening June 16 - Monday morning June 19. I plan to end up at Elephant Hill trail south of Moab for a dad's day Sunday ride. I made reservations to camp overnight at Devil's Kitchen Campground. Anyone interested?

    This is my itinerary:

    Thursday (working in the morning. Depart ~2:30 pm)
    Home to Moab
    365 miles 5.5 hours

    Moab to Behind the Rocks Road campsites
    5 miles 30 minutes?
    I think this is near where Rocktober Therapy camps

    Friday
    Kane Creek Canyon

    I will probably hike Devil's Kitchen a bit before the Monday drive home.

    Here is a map showing the trails. Thursday night, there are campsites in that "State Trust Lands Spanish Valley Block". Friday head south on 191, then west/north west on the red Kane Creek Canyon trail, over the green Hurrah Pass onto the yellow Chicken Fingers, south on the red Lockhart Basin to the red Elephant Hill in the Needles District.
