Lived in CO before. I know there's cool stuff nearby.
Visiting UT right now. Remembering doing Black Bear and Imogene, it was 6hr west.
Which means, it's 6hr east from me in Utah. Same damn drive. With good old gas prices going up soon as you get out there middle of nowhere at the base of those mountains.
That a lil 3gal tank will make no difference of, only a big expensive secondary gas tank if they even make one.

Looking at doing the Alpine Loop but staying longer. Black Bear and Imogene again, if weather clears up (hopefully) and more stuff there. I recall it includes Poughkeepsie Gulch and Engineer Pass.

Anyone here have a comprehensive list? I think it's like 7 trails.
    I will research it.
There's a book that lists them. Not sure if the nav apps do. I'll have to update mine and try to use them this time.
Used an old Garmin car GPS good enough to route you to the store but up there it was bad.
From Black Bear to Imogene had me drive all the way *around* Imogene (hour) to start up from the end going backwards...

I really enjoyed Stony Pass a few years ago. We plan on doing Yankee Boy Basin this summer.
