Any input on the Icon RXT? If i upgrade to RXT does it mean i will also have to change all my shocks to 2 inch lift. And do i also need to change my upper control arms. Im planning to changing my shocks in the future to 2 inch lift with Fox 2.0. Uhm, will that affect the geometry and do i need to do something about the brake lines? I dont teally wanna do crazy lift. 2 inches will be sufficient. Actually i dont teally want to lift. Wanna keep it stock as possible.

I bought my used 07 access cab prerunner or and it had the TSB springs with 1.5” blocks and the leafs would sag bad with 300 lbs. Previous owner might have abused them though. I have the general hd leafs now with 5100s and a tall leer topper and it hardly drops even with a pretty full load. The ride is rougher when empty which is most of the time, but better than the worn out shocks and soft leafs I had before. I think I’m about 23.5 inches from center of hub to fender.

    2 Inch Lift
I did the 5100's, 2 inch lift with the Icon AAL. I really like it on my truck with 265/70/R17's I did not have to extend any brake lines and also I don't think my UCA's look over extended. I'm really happy with it

I got my dad the same year Tacoma as well. On that one, the shocks are all worn out. It's been running on the spring for years it seems. Leaf springs from Toyota are expensive and I keep seeing the RXT's for sale for a good price. I emailed ICON and they said they can't confirm or deny if the 5100's will work with those leaf's. They said the RXT's was designed to be used with their RXT rear shocks.... Makes sense ....Aside from the RXT's I'm curious which springs you end up with. I'm more inclined to keep his truck stock with 265/70/R16's so the RXT's might not be what I choose. Good Luck!

These are the SS (blue) I put on my truck. I didn't get them from Amazon, I bought mine used off Tacoma World.

Here is the Toytech AAL that I added to my recall leaf packs about a year ago. This AAL is from Torch and it comes with everything you'll need for the install. I saw this AAL when I purchased their extended shocks. After installing the AAL from Toytech I got a full 2" lift in the rear and I didn't want to take any chances of blowing a shock when out in the middle of nowhere in AZ, UT or NM. Like I said, it includes everything you need, and you will need new U bolts

At the most you can expect to get a 2" lift from the AAL. If you're not doing any major flexing with the suspension (off roading) the stock shocks can work with the lift. You may also want to consider pinion shims with a 2' lift in the rear. I installed them when I installed the AAL.

There are a few (good) videos on installing the AAL. Watch all of them so you can pick and choose how you want to approach this task. The SS are easy since you're replacing the factory rear bump stops with the SS.
