Hello everyone. Long story short I just purchased a 2003 Tacoma with 90,000 miles. Last week the exhaust broke due to rust. It broke right next to where the O2 sensor is. The entire exhaust is rusted and there is a little on the headers.I have tried to find a new exhaust but have had no success. I’m lost and not quite sure what to do.

    thanks

Here is the link to where I bought it from.

a new exhaust install at a shop isn't the worst price wise. as long as you dont get all the expensive stuff. Stop by/ Call and get a quote

I figure you don't know how to weld or else you wouldn't be asking.

Why has it been so hard to find an exhaust? Stop at your local Toyota dealer or muffler shop. Here’s a quick search with out knowing all your specs.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Any auto parts store can get you every thing you need.

Depending where you live new Cats can be expensive .

depends if you can remove and install the exhaust yourself.

I honestly don’t understand this post, it’s a 2003 parts are not scarce, if you are not mechanically inclined or don’t have the tools to do the job is one thing. There are plenty of garages, muffler shops or dealers that can handle this for you, shop the best price. A quick google search brings up multiple sites that sell mufflers for the truck for your diy’er.

when my muffler rusted out, I went to a muffler shop. $100 and an hour and I was on my way again, that was 4 years ago and its still fine.

It’s not loud, just a deeper note.
