2nd Gen Tacoma Linkswell Tesla style touchscreen

Basically in a nut shell....NEVER BUY ONE....They are junk, overpriced , 0/10 as far as customer support. Plus you cant buy direct you have to buy from a distributor.

After my Nephew talked me into buying one, yes he bought one too. I purchased from a local Al and Ed's Audio store near me. BTW, never go to Al and Ed's in San Diego, or anywhere. Ill explain later.

First the install was good, had new upgraded speakers done as well. System sounded good, really good.
After 2 months I started to get a hissing back ground noise. At first I thought maybe it was a power wire that shifted near an audio wire. Not the case. I went back to Al and Ed's and they confirmed it was the internals or electronics.
On another note, if you offroad, and do any of it at speed, forget about the system staying in the dash, I have had 9 times it popped out where the wife had to hold it while I found a spot to re-pop back into the dash.

That was Feb 2022

After months of waiting for a replacement and drama/BS from one of the owners( the text string is Legendary QQing) he suggested to get away from the " cheap Chinese" made electronics. So he suggested an alpine Halo as a replacement. I said ok

That was early April

Its now Mid May and still no replacement, but boy did I receive excuse after excuse and so on.

See Al and Ed's is Corporate tethered to the L.A. office. Meaning all orders and shipping goes thru them, and boy they suck really bad. The individual locations cant buy anything without going thru Corp LA headquarters.

So Linkswell ( Stinkswell) I'd stay clear of
Al and Ed's, i'd stay clear of as well.

OEM system back in and time to figure out what direction I want to go,Again...
