So i found this awesome place called Stews Garage. He has a location in Kirkland and another in Auburn. Sweet set up, you rent a bay by either the hour up to 6hrs and then after blocks of 8. Very nice shop, new vehicle lifts (both kind, the post and the rails to allow the four corners and suspension to hang) each rental comes with a locker full of 450+ tools, fluid catch, and professionals on site to answer any questions! oh and each bay comes with access to your vehicle specific Alldata shop manuals! I got a days block for a little over $300, which to not have to crawl out from under my truck 100 times was well worth the money. I'm just spoiled now as I never want to change anything in my driveway again!

That is pricey. Nice to have the option though.

I wish there were more options. I did half a day at one and I’d just rather wrench at home. The shop was dry but it was dark and dirty which made me wonder what I was paying for. I don’t need much lift action right now, that’s obviously a different category of work. I mostly want light and heaps of space.

I just don’t like the constraints. Feels like you’re racing against the clock in someone else’s shop.

I'm glad that you found a place.

That's a lot of cash though.

Interesting business model - not a bad deal if you are handy and quick and know what you're doing.
    I don't know what I'm doing so there's that.

I wonder what the insurance premium is on a place like that.

EJunlimited- we definately signed some thick waivers before we ever step foot in the bays, and they "show" you how to operate the lifts, but your responsible for operating. So id imagine that any and all consequences/ any injury resulting are your own kuleana. True in life, or so one would wish. Might make the insurance a bit more manageable
