    I don't care what bumper you have,hit a animal hard enough and your truck is going too have major damage with or without a big bumper guard.

    Recently had an a cident (not my fault) and insurance cut me a check for $2,100. Instead of having a body shop replace and repaint the factory bumper on my 06 i cashed the check, ordered a Body Armor front, black OeM replacement rear, rock rails, skid plate, and a lot of other small parts to fix minor issues on the truck.

    since the truck is 17yrs old theres no point in spending all that loot just to replace the OEM bumper. I would probably feel a bit different if i wasnt planning to drive it until it dies vs future trade-in.

    I struggled to sell a good front end kit for $50. I can’t imagine flushing $2k down the toilet for such a thing.

    went to a guy who claimed his son tapped the front into a tree.
