I can't have my truck down that long either, as it is daily driven. I do have some OEM stuff I can throw on temporarily if anything. I would rather just pay to have it all done and get it out of the way.

My truck is going to burn or be sold as is before I return it back to stock. I can always flip the second set which would be easy. My truck would have to go back on stock wheels in order to run a stock suspension.

Just gave Offroad Elements a ring, they said they can charge them no problem, but they don't do rebuilds really.
So in this case, anyone local wanna rebuild them for me? I'd pay for parts and labor obviously.

Mine's 24x24, with a front 16 ft door and back 8 ft door. It's just enough space. We can fit my truck and her CX-5 in during snow storms, which is nice, but the 16 ft door forces us to have them really close together. I have 16 ft of workbenches and pegboard on one wall plus two tool chests and a 25 gallon compressor.

I'd like to swap the toolboxes with one single larger one, install taller work benches, close off/insulate the ceiling somehow to make it easier to heat, and install garage flooring tiles. But, I have about 100 other projects that are more important, so it'll probably be a long time before I can put money towards any of that.

I hear you on the projects. I’ve got a 24’ W x 26’ deep that’s about perfect for me that I would love to throw new doors and flooring but my ultimate goal is to move so it would be wasted money. The finished wall between the house and garage is only spackled and has an awful 70s beige primer on it (although it may just be the drywall color). I’m thinking of doing a sympathetic sand and speckle and just roll it flat while to clean it up.

My favorite thing was after I built my shed I was able to move 90% of the random junk out of the garage into the shed so my dream of having a very minimalist garage is coming true. I have a Husky rolling bench that I like and has a skeleton crew of tools but I’ve left my main toolbox in my cellar. It likely makes more sense to bring the toolbox up into the garage but since when am I logical.

Does anyone have a party tent/canopy thing I can borrow/rent for 6/24? Trying to get something in place for my daughter's 1st birthday, all the rental companies are booked

Alright, someone give me a hand with some ideas. I have a mobtown transfer case skid that won't fit due to exhaust. I thought it would fit since the skid does actually have a bend in it, but apparently not enough.

I can either have someone weld up something to the skid to shove it lower by a little, or I could get the exhaust reroute done (though I may jump on the R4T turbo kit, who knows).

Anyone think that modifying the skid would work?

Videos are out for the new tacoma. I like it. But towing capacity didn't increasewhich means it probably won't increase for the 4runner either. Not enough to cause me to swap trucks but definitely a bright looking future for them

I think the turbo kit is the only good way to solve that problem.

but for real the exhaust reroute would be better and cheaper I think. Then you don’t have a backed up skid.

It gets a trailer brake controller, which is a great plus. But no auto/torque on demand transfer case option. I don't get why they are so opposed to that in their pickups. The 4Runner and Sequoia have had it before.

Exhaust reroute is cheap and a ton of shops have done a lot of them so they know what they're doing. I'd just do that. It's like 150$ and takes an hour

I just watched both Toyota's official video, and TFL trucks video, and just like in 2016 with the 3rd gen, I would like to drive it! It looks like a smaller Tundra (of course, it is built on the same platform), but thankfully not so bold/in your face like the new Tundra.

I wouldn't rather not have that style system but the limited version has it. A center diff with awd a center lock and 4 low

I wonder how many of the exterior parts/add ons are going to be compatible with the third gen. Looks like they are trying to get some exclusivity with aftermarket manufacturers. That spells trouble for us plebes.
