I just found the thread, and sent him a message! FBC Harness Solutions seems to have what I’m looking for, and not too pricey.

I have a pin switch like that already along with a toggle switch to interrupt the ground if I'm keeping the hood up when the light is not needed. I like his switch mount better than what I had.

I had the same problem there when I was in Lahaina looking. Perhaps next time!

It may be but a stiffener may draw it back in…just a thought. I put stiffeners on line knowing I was getting a canopy and wanting the extra insurance against issues. There’s a thread about bed cracks I’ve been monitoring lately. Maybe try drawing that gap closer with a ratchet strap and see if you can close it up a bit then that should tell you if stiffeners would be able to do the same.

Very nice! I’ve been looking at that sale too. I really hope this works for you. I’d really give the ratchet strap thing a try…even if it’s just during installation to hold everything where it should be.

How does this work? I don't have a ratchet just one of those pull with your fingers tight straps.

I suppose I could improvise tie that little strap I have and then using a screwdriver put it in one of the straps and twist it.

The All Pro ones I have installed actually talk about a specific way to tighten up bolts if there is a gap present when theoretically there shouldn't be. Tighten from the bottom to the top. I'm assuming that means that you can pull in a bedside that has started leaning out. Perhaps you want to consider one of the brands that go up all the way to the top like total chaos or All Pro.

I would attach the a strap that you can get some pressure to get it back to where it’s suppose to be. I would attach the strap to the upper most corners by the tail lights and gently apply pressure. Then with the bed where you want it, locate and drill the stiffeners in place. Something like below

No problem! It would give a good idea of the amount moved and see if you can get the bed to the spot you want it. Also, would help you keep the bed there while installing the stiffeners.

Def not for me either. I’ll take the odyssey back. Much more room. And we converted it to add a platform and drawers for when we camp. Nice little setup.

I mounted my NOCO boost Lithium Jump start battery to my Desert Does It Multi Mount Panel.

I had tried using Velcro™ but that didn't work
    upload_2023-5-18_18-53-39.jpg

The magnetic strips worked great, but the Desert Does It Multi Mount Panel is made out of aluminum.
    upload_2023-5-18_18-54-41.jpg

So then I used bungie but it was a real PITA to undo and re-do
    upload_2023-5-18_18-52-5.jpg

So I designed this clip using FreeCAD software and printed it using my Prusa MK3S 3D printer.

    upload_2023-5-18_18-56-34.jpg

I bolted two clips into the multi mount panel with stainless steel hardare.

I keep it charged using this 12v to 5V converter.

Which is wired into my cab fuse block.

    upload_2023-5-18_19-8-52.jpg

    [Edit]
So now it sits right within reach from the driver's seat or when I open the driver side door. It snaps right out when I need it. But it lives in that location where I can keep it charged. The built in LED lights and added on magnetic mount make it my go-to portable light, in addition to the jump start capability.

With the Diamondback, the bed is pretty waterproof and secure so I keep some work items(armor, helmet), backpack/get home bag, and a robust trauma kit.

I have the NOCO GB 70 jumpstart battery I keep in a case behind in the backseat storage area. I don’t understand why you want to mount this to the truck, it is meant to be highly portable and moved to where you need it, different vehicles, situations etc.? Just curious why the need to mount it?
