I’ve had a good experience with
    https://www.sparksparts.com/

But I did pop into Toyota of Surprise the other day, Jeremy was very helpful and not running around like a mad man as a lot of parts guys do, I used to be one.

Damn, wish I had that tank on our 7k mile trip last year.

Actually scrap that, it would put me over on payload by quite a bit.

I've had Total Chaos on the shelf awhile. Issac just bend his spindle on the trail last weekend and I MacGyvered some shit to get us home. Was thinking if it was my truck I would have been toast, so I better get to the Beef. Ordered a spare set to weld up and I'll swap em out for a trail spare.

Had to fill the truck today since I actually drove it for the tread lightly cinder hills cleanup. Filling with premium is painful when I realistically probably average like 6-8mpg

Well luckily in only took you like 3 gallons to drive from your place to the cinders around a bit and home. But yes that is painful asfuck. Back at the height of the gas prices I was crying even filling up the damn Harley.

My last RV fill up was $165 and that was only 32 gallons of a 40 gallon tank.

Yeah it was almost $100 to fill up. Just checked the trip meter. 31.6 miles and burned about 1/4 tank per the gauge

But think of all the places that fuel will take you.

It sucked balls last year when we did our big trip and fuel was over $6 a gallon.

Reminded me of being back home…nearly

    https://www.autoblog.com/2023/05/18/2024-toyota-tacoma-reveal-hybrid-manual-off-road-trailhunter/

Return of the PreRunner. Four TRD trims now and that doesnt even count the Trailhunter. Limited is actually more than just a Chrome SR5 with fancy leather seats (it gets full-time 4wd and has electronically controlled dampers). SR, SR5 and PreRunner get leaf springs, everyone else gets coils. Disc brakes all around. 6sp MT available for the uprated non-hybrid 2.4T. Bilsteins with Reservoirs for TRD OR, Fox for TRD Pro, and OME for Trailhunter. TRD Pro gets some wild bucket seats. LSD standard on all models (possibly the computer Auto LSD). E-locker availble on some and standard on PreRunner. Still comes with Access Cab, but Access cab no longer gets rear seats. EDIT: Access Cab is dead, its the return of XtraCab, no rear suicide doors.

It seems its unveiling happened (quite appropriately) in Hawaii. It could be at Overland Expo, but its hard to say since its so minty fresh.

They never really used the name for the third gen since the 5 lug disappeared. Now its a trim level all to itself, replacing the RWD TRD Off Road (that confused and likely duped a few morons).

Yet Toyota USA does not sell a single car over there. All sales by Servco Pacific, nothing to do with Toyota USA. My vin doesn’t work in Toyota VIN check or places like Carvana or Carmax.

A reflection of the 3rd Gen? Through a glass darkly so to speak?
