Is it possible 2nd gen owners will be just as annoying here as they are in the 3rd gen forum?

But that would be a moot point considering the 4th gen uses FI.

I did chuckle when I read your post though, lol.

    LOL the wankmoji.

BTW above I said "2004 and certainly not now", should have said "certainly not NEW", thus making me think 1G. Of course I could get off my ass and find a real picture.

I think the ultimate irony here is that among non-owners, 2nd and 3rd generation are basically interchangeable.

the third gen was toyotas worst truck since the 3.0 v6 pickup. its d-tier a toyota vehicle a long with last Gen Celica, the Trecel and the SC convertible.

the 4th gen, on paper and aesthetically, belongs in the S-tier along with all the FJ70 variants, first gen Prado, 1985 pickup, 2nd gen tundra, AE86, Mk2 MR2, 2nd gen tacoma, 1990s hilux, toyota supra mk4, fj80, lc450, GX. Only time can tell

Little bit of this and that
Throw Out Bearing, Toyota came up with a shitty design for the 2nd/3rd Gen MT trucks. There's a fix but it's not exactly cheap and does require a bit of parts sourcing.

    100% this.

Us 2nd geners appreciate our father the glorious 1st gen and the 1st gen and 2nd gens have respect for one another..... 3rd gen + can fuck off you soft tech laden sissies nannies to make sure you live in a safe space :p.

That stated im all about parts interchangeability. Take a 1st gen extended cab 4x4 in white with a mild lift and slap some 3rd gen TRD OR rims on it..... and im weak at the knees.

I owned a second gen, a 2014 4.0 TRD OR. Functionally perfect but it was an outdated 1980s turd.

That's why I got my 2017. More modern in every way and a better truck. Except for those lame crappy halogen headlights. Those were garbage.

2nd gen were ugly as hell IMO with that ridiculous chrome interior, orange lighting, 4 speed garbage auto, but the good news is they are all rusting away by now and will be sacrificed to the Tinworm God.

Not sure why anyone defends 2nd gen. Take off the rose tinted glasses.
