They nailed me once and I learned my lesson, don't ever speed in Maryland.
Dey gonna catch you, especially now that they're putting up cameras everywhere.

I was on I-70 going up a slight grade when an oncoming truck flashed his lights.
I hit the brakes as I was going over the crest... too late

At the time, Maryland state troopers had just gotten a fancy new radar...
... people were calling them the "Killer Bees" or some such.
One of my passengers asked the cop if he was a Killer Bee and he smiled and said yep.

Maybe @1buzzbait remembers the name?
Was it "Killer Bees" or what?
Pretty sure the word "Bee" or "Stinger" was in there.

From the MINUS 4 Stars hotel down there.
Saguaro Hot Mineral Well Motel.
I survived 30 days. It did have air conditioner and refrigerator that worked. Very old place in need of much repair/remodel. So dirty I tried not to step on carpet with bare feet. The only thing keeping it from minus 5 stars was cheap...$65 a night and 15 minutes to my parking spot.
