They moved to coils except on some of the low end like SR.

It's been a tremendous pain in the ass to find a shop to do a decent alignment for the rear of my 4runner. I was looking forward to buying a 4th gen tacoma because I would have to get the rear aligned. But they killed off leaf springs for virtually all trims.

There's going to be a lot of tired out there on lifted tacos with funky wear.

I wonder if that gets rid of the resonance/whine that some hear?

Coils will obviously end leaf spring squeaks.

Will likely produce new noises as they wear in and get dirty.

Whine and resonance is usually with something in motion, so more likely from the diff and/or tires, so that would have no difference from spring design.

It will be more like a Ridgeline. :D

I'd heard part of the TSB was directed at the leaf pack. :notsure:

is there any info on what kind of coil or 4-link setup the 4th gen will have? so far, i haven't been able to find much other than basic press release statements.

i really don't know what that means?

was there some implication that toyota would tap rough country suspension for it?
