Nice. $2k is a great deal. I wouldn't have been able to pass it up either.

I always used electrical contact cleaner to clean the chain on my MX bikes. Just spray and watch the dirt and grime fall away. Not sure about using it on O and X ring chains?

Yeah, I'd have to read the can to see for sure if it was rubber safe. I don't haver personal experience, but I hear breaking the rubber causes problems for a few decades.

I'm definitely happy! It needed tires and it's higher mileage, but still definitely good with the price

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I got all the Iron Butt stuff!

I was super excited to put the license plate backer on. Been hoping to earn one for months!

Also put on the stickers and pins. I need to figure out what to do with the patches next.

Hadn't thought about doing that with my pins. Might have to copy that.

What's your IBA number? I'm 50866 but I think mine is a recycled number from someone who went on to become an IBR finisher.

    I am 83568!

I just learned of a few more rides I want to try before I plan the Bun Burner Gold ride. Namely, the California 1k ride, which I'll also combine with the Coffee Ride Gold (stop at 6 coffee shops + a city/town/area called Coffee). The California 1k has its own patch, but unfortunately neither ride have its own pins.

@BkerChuck did you say the Grom doesn’t qualify for the iron butt?

Nope. Saddlesore is 1000 miles in 24 hours so you'd need an average speed of around 43 mph. Likely be a real tough challenge but possible.

I keep tossing around a PA in state ride and/or the ice cream ride.
