There are a few Lexus NX engines on car-part for ~$5k. But once people start wrecking their mass produced trucks they should get a loooot cheaper in the next few years.

The bronze oxide is one of the two colors that interest me on a Sport. The other is Blue Crush, which I never liked on the 3rd gen.

I forgot about the access cab. DCLB OR MT doesn’t exist.

well I meant not the actual engine but the truck. How much do you guys think the blue sport just like the one they showed in the videos will go for? 48k? I expect probably the similarly specs on the trd off-road will go higher maybe 50?

Oh, interesting thanks! Base price must be that much higher on hybrid cause it’s not available on the lower trims.

What are the things on the roof and behind the cab on the Trailhunter called, and can they be removed?

The angled things (brush guards?) behind the cab are "bed racks"?

If they are removed, are there going to be empty holes? Or are they designed to be removed?

Thanks, and please excuse my ignorance.

I am no expert because I haven’t seen it in person but I’m pretty sure they attach to the bed racks through the channels in the bed just like most bed racks do.

I wonder what the roof thing bolts to.

What’s the proper name of both parts? I’m a bit anal about names of things, sorry.

I heard/read a quote that there are specific mounting holes for roof racks, so that water integrity is maintained. Hope that’s true.

so for Prinsus and front runners on previous gens, there are mounting holes with bolts underneath the weather stripping.

I think sport bar is what the triangle thing is officially called. Somehow they have come back in style lately. It doesn’t really have a purpose other than possibly mounting a few small things to it. It seems more annoying than useful as it blocks bed access.

It also looks like the 4G kept the bed-sides low enough for you to reach over.

    Australians love those things…

…yes would be annoying and mostly useless. Always run a topper on all my trucks, be the first thing I would rip off. Not that it matters, would start with the SR5 and build my own. The TH has a lot stuff I wouldn’t even use, like majority of people who buy those things. ;) :D Hell, my lowly SR has more bullshit on it that I’ll never use.
