What concerts have you seen recently?

No idea I'm assuming goerge got sick or something.

 

Doyle and Salem's Childe last night. Saw the same 2 last year. Salem's Childe is killer..hung out with some of them too.

Oh and I got to dance with Alex Story while he was singing...

 

Wife and I saw Buddy Guy this past weekend. Bucket List item: Checked off!

Went to see Sunny Sweeny in a tiny venue in NJ (Stanhope House). My wife really likes her music and I kinda like it too. Going to see Wheeler Walker Jr in October and Gin Blossoms I September. We were supposed to take my daughter and a couple of friends to see Morgan Wallen this week but he postponed 6 weeks of shows due to throat issues. I was kind of looking forward to seeing Parker McCollum (one of the guys opening for him) more than Morgan Wallen. Supposedly the show is happening a year from now.

 

Very cool. Saw him about 15 years ago with BB King.

Going to see Armin Van Buuren @ Brooklyn Mirage this weekend. Following that with David Guetta the following weekend same venue. AMAZING PLACE!

 

Depeche Mode in Toronto on April 7. I haven't posted pics...still holding onto the memory. lol

 

Historic 3 hour set from Armin van Buuren live last night at the AMAZING Brooklyn Mirage venue!! 2hrs down the rabbit hole almost 45 min of new unplayed music.I counted 9 IDs, the rest were all new remixes of his hits. I.He was testing them for his Sunday night show at EDC Vegas. Damn I love the small shows treatment compared to the huge Festivals!
It was an awesome night but shit, wife and I are hurting right now. Got back to the hotel at 5am lol.

We will be back for David Guetta live next weekend.

 

Godsmack and Staind 2 nights ago. Mix Master Mike opening.

Never seen Staind and they were great. Seen Godsmack over 100 times and they never disappoint.

Bummed the Ice Cube/Cypress Hill show tomorrow got cancelled.

 

Just got home from Pantera/Lamb of God. While the Abbotts have passed on, Zakk and Charlie absolutely killed it as fill-ins. Definitely recommend hitting this tour if it comes anywhere close to you.

 

I really wish they'd play some smaller venues. I hate arena shows.

 

Given my choice I agree re big vs small shows.

Sadly the Pantera tour is a tough miss for me

Ghost and Amon Amarth last weekend.

Saw Ghost a couple of times but first time headlining, definitely worth it.

Amon Amarth is one everyone should see.

Saw that tour on Wednesday. Ghost's encore was cancelled due to a thunderstorm in the area.

Gotta admit, Ghost during a thunderstorm was pretty dope.

 

That sound rather badass though. Wouldn't mind seeing Glenn Danzig perform that way
