It also retains factory receiver that really limits your departure angle.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Maybe an issue, but I have the rear air bags now which let me get up to a 2 inch lift if I need that extra lift when in 4-lo and washouts. Always willing to look at other options, this is a first one I checked out.

Thank you, I'm happy with it. I wanted to retain my OEM hitch ... this fit the bill at a reasonable price, IMHO.

Decent bumper but I really would like to keep BSM functional. My first vehicle with BSM and it’s quite nice having it.

I need to find a bumper that’s compatible with BSM.

We're in the same boat, not wanting to delete the BSM's. We were ready to pull the trigger on the Apogee until reading about the misaligned receiver hitch holes. Since towing is a #2 priority after the #1 armor up, we're still looking and waiting.

Nice bumper. I will read up on that one.

BTW, I saw a Taco yesterday with a totally red rusted out rear and front bumper. Nasty looking. A local shop mentioned to me to not get product BLAH, I forget which one they said. I guess it was the one I saw on the road.

Yeah, I've already got a small spot on my driver side slider. But it's all metal, nothing a little sandpaper and Hammered Rustoleum or Bedliner won't fix. Worst case down the road, I have a good powdercoat shop local.

EDIT: The front bumper has been on the truck two Winters, the sliders, skidplate, and rear bumper 1 Winter ... I only have the one quarter size spot along the one slider edge, pretty sure that's a result of the slider performing it's function. That spot is still more silver than rust. All my armor is DV8 and I don't baby my truck. It's a tool with a function.;)

A small spot is no big deal, I did all of the rust removal on 2 of my older pickups. A yearly project, grinding down inner wheel fenders, rust treatment, undercoat and finish paints. My oldest truck, an 86 F 150 never had any of that.

This guys bumpers were solid rust, there was not a spot of black paint to be seen.

There are a couple companies in the states that offer BSM compatible steel bumpers. Unfortunately they don’t ship to canada…

I’ve been looking hard for couple days and can’t find any here. I’m even willing to pay 2k for it.

How far from the border are you. Many places near the border on the US side offer parcel receiving for a nominal fee.

When I had my 2nd gen, I had the rear bumper sent to the UPS terminal near the border and picked it up from them, put it in the box and drove home. Declared it at the border and expected to pay GST but wasn't charged.
