I just got a new set of Wildpeak AT3W (265/75/R16) installed and the truck aligned. I wanted to know what everyone thought of the numbers i got at the end. The truck has a noticeable vibration around 18mph. It had this before the new shoes, but the wildpeaks i took off were severely cupped and at the end of their life so i chalked it up to that.

New tires were road force balanced and the tech said everything went fine, no concerns. The truck has Bilstein 6112/5160 with a new leaf pack. Fronts are on the top clip with a 700lb spring, winch, and bumper. The shop i went to is very good but not an off-road shop by any means. Most comments are appreciated!

I would say they did a toe and go for that alignment. They did not touch camber or caster from the looks of it. That is the easy way out. A good shop, or at least a good tech, would have adjusted all three

My knowledge of alignments is extremely limited but it is my understanding, the higher the caster...the smoother the ride. With that low of caster (the spindle is almost perfectly vertical) then the spindle can vibrate like you are experiencing now and you will cup your tires. There is chance your cam bolts are seized and they can't adjust without cutting and putting new ones in...or they are lazy. But if you paid for an alignment, I would take it back and ask for the caster to be put in spec and then see how it rides.

Called the shop back to see if there was a reason for not getting things in green. They did not have an explanation or remember there being an issue. I am going back tomorrow so they can take another look.

Did you do the ecgs bearing swap after your lift? Your numbers definitely dont look great because you'll definitely need more caster than that, but maybe look into your needle bearing as a cause of your vibration

Wondering the same about ours. Brand new Toyo Open Country AT 3s (after replacing new Falken Wildpeaks that couldn't be balance, more here).

Toyota dealer service writer said that the driver-side caster couldn't be adjusted, maybe hit a pothole, but that it was in spec. Now I have a vibration around 70 mph in the front (vibration felt through steering wheel). Discount Tire rebalanced them and said they were all good.

Per @airforceb2cc, cam bolt seizure?

They adjusted your camber so it looks like your cam bolts are good. But I wouldn't worry about your caster. I'm at about +3.8 on both sides. A vibration at 70 could be more drivetrain related. I would put it in 4HI and see if the vibration goes away. If it does, needle bearing. If it doesn't, check driveshaft angle/wheel bearings/U-Joints.

You got an alignment check. They adjusted nothing. Not even toe. All he did was push a little, if that. The numbers may have just changed from his fat ass sitting in the seat. I would demand a refund. You got screwed.
