Something must have popped out because this little plastic bit behind my rear bumper is loose and rattling. I thought I just needed a plastic automotive clip thing, so I ordered these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076BMVZ8R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
    They're all too big unfortunately.
Anyone know what other style I should order? I guess something smaller than 6.3mm?
Looks like there should be something in this hole. There is a hole on the plastic part behind it that lines up. The passenger side looks a little different, but the plug thing on that side is smaller than anything that came in the box of stuff from Amazon.

Hey, did you ever find a solution to this? I need the same piece and don’t know where to find it.

Nope. Never found it. It still rattles. I might need to design something and 3d print it, but have no experience with anything like that

I'd try a pop rivet or a self threading flat head bolt or screw. Just make sure the head won't interfere with tailgate before installing.

Looks like trim is p/n 62572-04020? See below to confirm

If so, your looking at clip p/n 90467-05170. Toyota doesn’t give dimensions to dealers, but a dealer near you may have one in stock that you could buy or measure!
