Throw some more heat and flux on that copper then slap the solder to it. It will work, maybe, probably not :D :annoyed: Hope the plumber can get to you quick.

I should have taken the branches down a few months ago when I was doing some other trimming. These are in a different part of the yard and I didn’t think about it at the time. I’ve already mowed a couple of ties and while they were low it was only a mild irritation. Last week the hit me in the bed and knocked my hat off so it’s time to go now. Of course it’s thundering and showing 70% chance of rain right now o_O

It was in the news yesterday a woman died pruning trees. Details were sketchy but it seems there was an ‘arborist’ injured too.

    Be careful

Good morning everyone. Schedule is mixed up today so I’m all out of sorts. Hope your day is going better than mine :D

I have a healthy respect for chainsaws, I’ve seen a couple of nasty accidents involving them. This should be just a few cuts with the pole saw and then some delimbing on the ground to make the debris manageable. There might be a couple of sketchy on the 8’ ladder to reach the branch moments but I’m hoping it’s all from the ground.

    Hope your day improves.

14 soldered connection and one leak. The fitting or joint on the right in photo is culprit. One that I was able to do on the bench and was confident in it but maybe I got to hot during install.
Got rid of two pierce connection and replaced shut off valve that was probably original 1974.

A couple of rear window decals...
Just add some more solder to it until it quits leaking.

You all can tell jokes??? Problem where I’m at is the third person who isn’t involved in the conversation may eavesdrop and get their feelings hurt and go pout to HR.

My circle of friends at work keeps getting smaller.

Our HR used to have an open door policy, as in we could walk in anytime and talk to our HR rep. We just discovered they have been moved to the building off the main site, the one building we don’t have access to. You have to get security clearance to even enter that building.

If you’re the one with the wall of matchbox with lime green all over, it’s you. I remember they were all unpackaged. Now to figure out who was the truck… it doesn’t come with a parts manual, so not likely to be rusty. He collects the real deals….

Same for me. Between my card and keys, there's not to many places I can't get into on campus.

Because I have access to this kind of pointless information, removing the bathrooms in the dorms, we have an even 150 men's rooms and 40 gender neutral (aka PRIVATE!) bathrooms that I can pick from.

Edit: To be fair, I checked the women's bathroom count. It's 149. Don't tell the equality people!

At the way back job most of the department wore green cotton welding jackets mostly because it was a nice lightweight jacket.

It was amazing how much clout that green jacket carried, we could go anywhere & do just about anything without question.
