Hey TW! It's been awhile since we had a sale on Billet Tie Downs, so let's do one for Memorial Day!

Use code TWMEMORIALDAYGB to get the discount.

Free shipping will still apply for orders of 2+ items.

And now....some info on Billet Tie Downs in case you haven't already seen them:

These are a direct replacement for the steel U-shaped hooks that are bolted in your bed. Available in red, black, blue or silver, the patented slot keeps your ratchet strap hook from falling out while you tie things down. There are also multiple ways to attach bungees, rope or ratchet straps.

    Sold in pairs
    • Application: 2007-2023 Toyota Tundra (uses two pairs, or four Bed Tie Down Anchors)
    • Application: 1995.5-2023 Toyota Tacoma (uses one pair, or two Bed Tie Down Anchors)
      • Early 2nd Gen Tacoma will require holes to be drilled
    • Application: 1999-2023 Ford F-250 (uses two pairs, or four Bed Tie Down Anchors)
    • Machined 6061-T6, anodized, engraved with logo and torque spec
    • Includes corrosion resistant, Grade 8.8 mounting hardware
    • Replaces stock steel tie-down points that are prone to scratching and rusting
    • Multiple methods for attaching ratchet straps, bungee cords, or rope
    • Radius on inside to avoid cutting straps and ropes
    • Center slot retains tie down straps
    • T40 Torx bit required to remove the stock bolts
    • M6 Hex bit required to install the new hardware
    • Designed and Manufactured in the USA
    • Patent Pending

These have more options for attaching straps while being 1” closer to the factory bed rail. They will also clear tonneau covers and bed racks when the OEM tie-downs won't. These are MUCH STRONGER than the stock plastic cleats that flex and move under load.

I need to get something going on my ‘05, any detail on how you’ve done them with some drilling? Did you use a backing plate?

I did it on my '06, it was super easy. I just drilled two 5/16" holes and used a fender washer and lock nut installed through the rear wheel well. I thought I might have to remove the fender liner but it pulled back and I had easy access.

I would personally be stoked if you had a photo of the location and backside somewhere?

I have some D rings with backing plates in my '16 up front down low but I wasn't sure if I wanted to try to match the up high position or the down low position on the '05.

Sure thing! I moved mine back a bit to clear the gas cans, but the height is the same as a later 2nd Gen that came with the factory tie downs.

Thanks, looks awesome. That's where my D rings are on the '16. Did you consider up high where the later model OEM ones mount? I guess that's superfluous to you b/c you have the rails decorated. My rails are almost all blocked by a bakflip, part of the dilemma. Much harder/riskier to drill up high and maybe not really accessible.

Exactly, I already had Tie Downs up high on the rails, so I wanted to mount the Bed Tie Downs down low.
Doesn’t Bakflip make brackets to relocate the rails lower so they’re usable? That might be another brand, I don’t remember.

Thanks man, love your truck too. I actually used to live in AZ and I worked for Speedhunters from 2012-2018.

Thanks d00d! I appreciate that! I was wondering if that's where the username was from. I don't blame you for moving, especially if you went somewhere with seasons
