How does someone get the last 2023 3rd gen off the line? Will Toyota sell it to the public? Would the buyer even be made aware? What trim will it be? Maybe a 6spd manual Pro, in the exclusive color for 2024. Maybe a Ice Cap white 2wd Utility Package. Will it be worth more than, any other 3rd gen?

I'd have to guess that's not going to just any customer.

If it's like our model, they won't know when the last truck or what it is until about six weeks out.
Right now, they are using inventory existing and slowing down 3rd gen parts production. Orders are still coming in for 3rd gens and they are buying 4th gen stuff.
So, last day is still up in the air I would say.
As far as the last one? Who knows or cares. Toyota probably won't even make the serial number public as it is no big deal.
Our customers could care less. They want the same thing with improvements, which is what the 4th gen is. Does the same thing, carry people and stuff but has different options and look.

Typically Toyota doesn't make a big deal about production changes, even with press releases. They focus on the new and not the outgoing.

The last 5.7 tundras were mostly high trim levels or pro.

There's no real collector value to Tacoma.

The FJs and Landcruisers are the only real models with limited runs that actually attract higher prices than another model of similar sale price.
