That looks like it might be a dometic 75dz which is listed at 1.3ah draw, the jackery 500 is listed as 24ah so when doing the math it should last ~18.5hrs. Of course there will be variables in that such as ambient temp but that is a good roundabout number I think.

Got to do an overnightlander mission to Mammoth Mountain Resort Monday night to go snowboarding on Tuesday. God blessed in finding a nice spot to camp at 1am in the morning.

Don't forget for charging if you plugin both ac power plug and also the 12v you will get even more charge! In the car I plug in the 12v and a USB-C cable and it charges fast whenever I'm driving

This reminds of the tandor oven I made out of flower pots. it would hit over 900F with a few chunks of royal oak.

Had an easy weekend at a State lake near us the week before the holiday. I like to go out then, things are a little more relaxed.

Found a downed tree that covered the entirety of the trail that led to Wilbur Canyon off of FR 149.

Spent some time clearing the smaller bits away by hand:

Then it was the trucks turn. No chainsaw so it had to drag the entire tree out of the way.

Trail is cleared and people can stop blazing new trails around the fallen tree.

do you schedule maintenance at whatever shop is closest when you need it? or not really worried about the 5k intervals?

You didn't ask me, but as one who has taken multiple cross country trips, I'll answer about what I do.

I keep up the maintenance at home, and change oil and filter on the road. I've changed oil in hotel parking lots (discretely) and in campgrounds (very discretely). Anywhere you are camping in the open, it is no big deal.

Sometimes I carry oil with me, but if I'm planning on going through a big town/city, I may pick up oil there. I always bring a filter. I use a drain can that seals fairly well, but do tie it into the bed so it doesn't move while traveling. Next time I'm in a town/city, I find an auto parts store and dump the old oil.

Wish I was there right behind you. I did a 16 day trip to Yellowstone a few years back. As we were approaching the house on the
way home I just wanted to keep on going. I have a smallish camper like yours and it was tight but it worked.

On my recent 9k mile out and back, the service reminder light went on while passing across the Grand Canyon north rim. On the way to Phoenix for a family get together. I made an appointment for oil and all filters, as driving through Death Valley was very dusty.

They do the whole "multi Point" inspection thing and even put in a new battery (warrantee)
Cost $200. Was it worth it? Heck, oil and filters would have been over $100...
But I do like to do these things myself....

This state park camping in OK is similar to the Buffalo River park pictured above.

I had made a cheap harbor frieght poly trap shell for my 2nd gen way back when there was a ttora
from a picture I saw there. Since getting my 3rd gen in the past used a trap half way under the bag
and then over the sleeping bag to stay dry in bad weather. I went to her and prevailed in having her
make me a custom cover in waterprood pack material for my 3rd gen. Keeps out rain snow and other
stuff while letting you put the tailgate down so you have room
