I got a quick question here about my cv angle. Recently upgraded from eibach stg 1 to fox 2.5 performance elite shocks. No changes to the front coilover from accutune after everything was torqued down to spec and test drive truck got more then 3inches of lift in the front. My question is my cv angles bad? Might lower the front about an inch. Any input or thoughts would be appreciated.

I think I linked 4 pics. First two is drive front and rear of the cv and second is passenger front and rear

    thanks

Rather than worrying about the angle of your cv shaft at ride height, I suggest you measure your down travel. A simple way to do this is to measure the distance from the center of your hub to the edge of your fender flare at ride height and at full droop (jack the truck up until the tires leave the ground), then subtract the two measurements. You should have a minimum of about 2-3” of downtravel to avoid a harsh ride quality.

It is generally understood on this forum that any front lift above 2" is detrimental to the longevity of your CV's.

This is not saying that your CV's will be destroyed immediately, just that their lifespan is decreased when they operate daily at those angles.
