Any towing experts here want to help me understand what the 2024 iForce Max with 465 ft-lb and a shared tundra frame can tow RV wise (GVWR and all the other goodies)?

I see the new numbers state 6000lbs and and an increased payload of 1709lbs?

My 21' Pro door jam says: GVWR 5600lbs and 990 Payload.

I still want a 4x4 truck, but im not sure if the 24' Taco is going to get the job done.

The best payload and tow rating will come with gas only variants with fewer options. The hybrid system adds more weight.

It is not the same frame as the Tundra. Shared platform does not mean shared frame. Taco frame is specced according to its intended class. If you want to tow more, get the beefier frame in a larger truck.

King 2.5’s with adjusters from accutune front and rear, 88 rotors rear add a leaf, Camburg X-joint UCA’s, Factory style trd pro 16” wheels with 0 offset, 285/75/16 KO2’s, pro grille, Front bumper viper cut, trd front skid plate, full RCI under skid plates, Cali raised trail sliders, exhaust cut dump, KDMax 10.0 tune
Well if you look at the new tundra iforce vs iforce max, the iforce max tows about 600 pounds less than the regular iforce. This will probably the same thing with the new Tacoma or around the same.

    Higher payload is nice.

Agree with the others on towing: if you want to tow even 6000 lbs on a regular basis, Tacoma is the wrong truck.
