That it’s a nice neighborhood! We got gas there at the Sunoco station before going into the park.

    :fingerscrossed:
I hope you figure it out quickly. Front end noises can be annoying difficult to diagnose!:annoyed:

I don’t think there’s any fishies in here. Dries to just a trickle once the snow in the mountains is done melting. And lots of overhead, would be hard to swing even my short line around without getting snagged

Strangest thing… a Model T just drive thru camp. No pics because I was busy stuffing s’more in my face at the time. Chalking that up to the most unexpected camp visitor yet

in other news the very extremely loud generator running all day while the jackass owners have been gone has finally run out of gas.

I'm not waiting for a failure, I don't need that kind of stress in my life. I just want to be sure of what I'm replacing is the part that actually needs replacing instead of loading the "parts cannon" ( To quote Eric from South Main Auto) at the truck.

Thanks. 2 issues out of the blue, the Taco has been pretty decent for the past 2.5 years that I've owned it. I had to replace the entire suspension when I got it, but I scored a practically new TRD OR suspension from a 3rd gen for just a few bucks, so it was an upgrade at the same time. I think that I did front pads and rotors at the same time, or very near to it. I did spark plugs and an air filter too. Besides oil changes every 10K, it hasn't asked for anything. It figures that since I'm really considering getting rid of it, it wants to play games now.

10-15 more years you'll be complaining about dog shit, trash, loud coughing, loud televisions, no permits, dust and generators like a pro. Do yourself a favor and find more remote areas to go to or "no generator" areas or you're going to stroke out well before your time. If they're running generators during the day you're just going to have to suck it up.

I should do it this way, but I get annoyed trying to get the pills into the containers. I’ve got 16 different daily medications, some are twice a day others are morning or evening or before bed. I need a bigger container with morning, noon, evening, and night time options. I have most of them divided up on my counter in rows for morning, twice daily and night. Some days I get frustrated with it and just don’t bother.

You have to get to the "Incident Report" phase. Find Mr/Ms Ranger, ask them for an IR and fill it out...but make sure you're in the right first. Yes, generators during the day are annoying AF, but if they're within "operating hours" (usually 6 am to 10 pm) then nothing's going to get done (unless it's louder than the allowable decibals and we don't carry decibal meters in our trucks). The worst are the yellow construction gens. I witnessed two 75 y/o gents go hands on each other over daytime generator use. So trust me. Find more remote locations now and enjoy them until you get old and lose your hearing, then it doesn't matter.

Don't laugh at me... I use 8 different weekly sorters like these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/1pcs-Lar...edications-Supplements/620245493?from=/search I have my vitamins in some, and my prescriptions in others. Then each day they go in 4 of these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Chef-Cra...avel-Container-3-Pack/1796636083?from=/search One set of vitamins - morning; one set with a prescription at lunch time; prescription at dinner; vitamins at bed time. Then a contact case with other pills for 9 am and 9 pm. I'd rather have to set them up once a week than have to open all those pill & vitamin bottles every day. Part of why so many sorters is some vitamins are gelatin and sticky (fish oil) and don't want them getting the "dry" vitamins icky. :anonymous:

I don't know about there but Memorial Day Weekend here is a total madhouse...another reason I'm not working this weekend. I'm on call but I already told the crew not to call me until Monday so, once the phone rings, it's double OT.

Keep my toolbox and layout at work pristine. ask for a tool and i can tell you what drawer and where it is. at home im bad for using stuff and just laying it on the workbenches or the floor.
