I've got the good ole SPC UCAs with a bad bushing on the driver's side, rear bushing.
With the wheel off the ground I can wobble the control arm a bit and make it rattle. Just in the back.
    It clunks at low speed.

Is it safe for me to take on a camping trip 4hrs from home, with the possibility of wheeling?

Please say yes. I was supposed to bring my dirt bike for some awesome riding, but I was sent the wrong clutch parts, so all I have is the truck.

if you're concerned, I wouldn't risk the wheeling unless it's very light or very soft (IE Sand or mud). I think you'd be alright driving it on your trip though

but that's just my opinion and not advice, so please don't hold me liable if anything happens.

It's not gonna break free or anything - it just might get worse if you wheel it hard. Good luck with the warranty, I have a name and number you can try when you get back.

If you have the pre-x-axis style bushings DO NOT let them talk you into "upgrading" - replace with the old style bushings, even if you have to buy them and pay to have them pressed at a local shop.

Thank you. I appreciate the info.
When I get back I will send them a video of the issue and see what they say.
    I wish I had the pre-x-axis.
They told me replacement parts are on backorder for 6-7 weeks. So that's nice.
My other concern is the reliability going forward.
I don't want to have to keep working on these things.

I got 40k miles on brand new SPCs. Warranty took forever. Next time they trash out I'm gonna go with something else, probably Dirt Kings.
