They maintain around 7 threads, Motorsport Tech says they’re safe and you need 6 threads minimum. The general rule is half the diameter of the stud, which for us would be 8 threads. I don’t think it’s an issue. There are some longer studs that can be swapped to if needed from a few other models and can be bought at the parts store as Dorman brand.

The 1/4 inchers are the only ones they say you don’t need to swap studs for.
