Is there a list of all the maps you can edit in VFTuner? I took a quick look and didn't see anything.

It's quite a large list for the 3GT. Most of the names you'd find on here have changed in the last few years since Mat was banned, the map tree structure has changed significantly since then, and there are a lot of maps with the same exact name but have different logic. There are also maps you shouldn't touch at all, but we do have access to.

Is there one in particular you are curious about?

Mostly getting a sense of WHAT can be tuned on the 3rd gen. I know there are things like throttle blade opening, acis, codes, etc but is there items like timing tables, variable valve overlap and more...intimate...maps.

I had the understanding that the details of this are proprietary and sharing of such content publicly may void your license. That said, anyone seeking details should just ask VFTuner.

The list of maps you can tune if you buy the software?

Yes, the proprietary access the VFTuner platform provides. Perhaps I misunderstood but best to just ask the vendor of you'd like

To be honest, if I have to ask the vendor what maps there are (because others are not allowed to tell me) then I'm not interested. I need to be able to rely on a community to help me, and other noobs, learn how to do this. If they prevent telling others even what maps the software provides then that means I have practically no resources to begin on this effort.

As far as just asking them anyways, sure. But they already failed to provide that on their website. Their forum is shut down. Right now I have every expectation the folks here may be a better help. Not saying the vendor can't or won't, but from the read I get now I expect the people here to be more helpful than the vendor

I'm not quite sure what you're asking(I have never looked into this type of stuff), but @Boltripper is a tuner. He's always seemed like a stand up dude. I would think that if he can answer your questions, he will.

I would think asking if VF can tune a, b, and c should be a problem.
Now telling someone how to tune a, b, and c shouldn't be done unless you bought from the company.

If you get confirmation form the vendor we can start posting such details publicly then I'll share whatever you want.

I think the issue is disclosing Toyota's PI. The maps themselves aren't owned by vF Tuner (excluding the maps vF Tuner squeezed into the file). vF Tuner only gives us access to the maps within the file(s).

Per gear throttle limits, ACIS, Ignition timing, intake and exhaust valves, and AFR are all available. Shift maps, torque converter, and the torque maps all take up a large amount of available maps.
