OIL PRESSURE TESTER THREAD TYPE?

    got a new oil pressure tester today but there seems to no way to hook it up the threading on the sender is NPT Thread, and the fitting on the tester and straight thread how the can you do a pressure test when you cant even hook up the tester?

    Do you try to put it where the pressure switch is at the front of the engine ?. I think it's a weird british thread. 1/8 BSP.

    I tried to put it in the hole the sending unit came out of all I did was rip the first thread off the tester petty sure it fell onto the hole now i got a peace of brass down that hole

    Try using a pick and a flashlight to try to remove the piece of thread that broke off in there

    solution take the old sending unit, cut off the end drill a hole all the way through it apoxie that to one of the fittings that came with the tester and away you go
