Transfer case oil leak.

    So under my truck today greasing drive line. Noticed the seal on forward side of transfer case is leaking. (Where 4x4 drive shaft goes into transfer case.) Appears to be the oil seal part #36111B?
    Anyone ever attempt this job?

    Is your level low? If you're not losing a noticeable amount, I wouldn't worry about it.

    Ok thanks. I’m going to clean it up and monitor it. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse before I have time fix it.

    Props to you for getting under the truck to inspect / grease. Not many do.

    As far as the leak i wouldnt worry till you see drips otherwise its so little that it wont matter
