    Hey Everyone,
I need some help finding a mysterious popping only, when I back up and likely one uneven ground.
I have put in a cv axle assembly and checked the wheel bearing. It is a 2019 TRD offroad. It resolved for a week or so after I pulled it apart and replaced the CV assembly. Any thoughts? It really sounds off after the truck sits a few hours and you back out of your driveway only when you turn hard right in reverse.

Thank you for the link. This is my first post.
I have Icon 2.5’s on the front. I will study the info further on the link and check out those parts numbers.
My noise is not a click but a “clunk” that is alarming when you are outside the vehicle with someone else backing the vehicle up. Also, I can really feel it in the steering wheel when it happens. I hope the new bolts work.
Btw! Thank you again helping. I was not going that direction at all!!

You should try and get a video of the noise. I have a clunking noise I am still trying to figure out what it is usually only when going turn left in reverse.

Check the torque on the nut of the UCA. Mine needs torqued about every 5,000 miles or it will clunk real bad in reverse.

I have a clunk but it’s from my rci skid plate. I thought it was the uniball from my ucas, lower control arms and various other places. However I removed the skid plate and the noise would go away. It’s a popping and clunking sound. It would get louder in reverse turning or any articulation. Haven’t figured out how to get rid of it. Do you have an aftermarket skid plate?

Maybe not that many pops before I find the issue. But yes, that is the sound mine makes.

Yeah, it gets bad. As soon as I tap my break when reversing like that, it starts popping. The moment pushes it forwards or backwords or something..idk. I've already loosened and tightened the UCA bolt...flexed the suspension with it loose. So I'm not sure. Anyways, not trying to hijack this guys thread lol

It could to be one of the ball joints. Check all the ball joints up front.

On a different car, I had a weird clunk I was finally able to figure out. Turned out to be the front coilover threads that attach the top of the strut to the frame/body. Very transient. Just make sure you don't overlook that like I did.

Could be lower control arm bolts loose, lower control arm bushings torn.

If it's only happening with the steering at full lock, could be the steering stop rubbing against the lower control arm, which would be "normal" and doesn't need fixing.
