He's a Stihl fanboy, hating on my Echo equipment...

Well you're both wrong. The only orange that matters is Husqvarna.


My trimmer is an Echo, and it worked great until this year. I'll replace the primer bulb that split and find somebody that wants to clean it up. I certainly don't need it anymore.

 

I've had several Stihl's before, but just became unhappy with them. Tried an Echo and loved the oldschool feel. It went on from there...

 

You didn't like the ergonomics of a real man's trimmer

Good morning stockers, went to the John Deere/Stihl dealership yesterday for some parts. Stihl has a gas powered robot lawnmower, I didn’t ask the price. Couldn’t believe my wife let me go in there unsupervised with the credit card.

 

For the record. Put me in Team Orange - Stihl. All gas powered are run with Ethanol free (there's a few stations that still sell it) mixed with the Stihl Ultra oil. Never had a problem, even after sitting for months. I just fill up a 5 gallon can and then use that to fill/mix in smaller 2 gallon cans for day to day use. I will say that as far as the saws, one does have to get used to the Stihl "burp" when on full choke. They flood easily if you miss that.

I put like 6 coats on and sanded off 4 lol.
Door is really trashed so making it less trashed is not that hard lol.

 

It’s funny, spend all winter dealing with it, spend all summer getting ready for it. Circle of life, love it. Okay I gotta get back to work.
