Found an awesome place to mount the compressor switch (under the hood). It’s going to take some fab skills.

    Thanks.
Tire guy and I were debating on whether we could go with a 275/60 or 255/60.
We went 255. Think I would have rubbed with 275s.

Sure looks like it, that's at least another .5" of width. Not worth the chance.

Wifes outback got hit by vermon. Was leaking gas, took it to the dealership and they said one of the lines got hit by mice. Estimated about 3k to fix it; have to drop the tank and to do so, pretty much all of the rear suspension would have to come out for dropping the tank. And much of the rear suspension is toast, so that cost included a bunch of new rear suspension components. Also needed brakes front and rear, and a couple other things bringing the cost close to 5k. 10 year old car, 140k in miles, oil consumption issue and around 5k in repair costs.

Brought this home instead. So much fancier than the ‘14 outback that had no options. Would have liked to get her in a 4Runner but made this choice based on costs and current interest rates. Pretty happy with it.

So were going to get some peppermint oil and go to town with her new car and the tacoma.

    Howdy everyone.

Had a soccer tournament in Newton that was supposed to go until 4.

Kiddo made it through the first game, but then in between games I think too much junk snack food and sun got to him. Threw up twice. Came home after the 2nd game of the 4 we would play.

    Bummer.

Has anyone heard of mice going after Fluid Filmed cars?
I wonder if you simply Fluid Film it from new & there after would make the wires not tastey? It certainly has a stink to it.

Bought the spoiler from a guy I knew around 1980 who was building a Nova drag car. He never installed it.
He *allegedly* bought it from Motion on LI.:notsure:

The front plate is an original issue Chevy promotional item from 1971.

My car has them and it's very subtle, I don't think I'd notice if I didn't know they did. If it's dark enough in the garage when I start it I can see the self- test wiggle

Good morning CT. Happy Memorial Day.

Had a good time up at Ma Bell yesterday. This little truck sure is capable. I really need to get a full skid set and rock sliders.
I also need to finish the wiring for the compressor. I don't like bumming stuff off of other people.
