My tacoma has 8k miles on it but on the highway sometimes it jerks and shakes above 50mph and I don't know if that's normal? Is my tranny going out or something or something with my wheels? Any advise is a help. (New oil, normal gas, no dash lights coming up. It does have an aftermarket exhaust a carven progressive muffler setup)

Well, that is a 3rd gen, not a 1st gen.

That said, maybe. If it is like the gas pedal is being goosed, that is the ECU and mine does it on occasion as well, but most commonly in 2nd gear.

Otherwise, no, that is not normal.

I haven't bought a new vehicle in over 50 years so things may have changed but your 2023 should be covered by the factory warranty. Just take it back to the dealer & have them fix it.
