    18 years and 260k miles later . . .

With my first baby on the way, it was finally time to upgrade to a full-size from my '00 Tacoma.

Purchased this '16 Ram 1500 4x4 from a government auction last month. Since buying, I've upgraded the head unit to a touch screen w Apple CarPlay, added the shell and racks, replaced brakes and rotors all around, upgraded to Bilstein 5100s and Zone UCAs from stock. I'm pretty stoked on the setup and am already loving the extra in-cab room.

And for those who are wondering, no I'm not selling my Tacoma :D Creative budgeting allowed me to score the Ram without braking my bank so the Taco stays. Considering it was my first and only vehicle until this point (bought it in '05 w 100k miles on it for 10 grand), I expect I'll be buried with the keys still in my pocket. Hoping my kid will drive it to high school one day. That's only a decade and a half away, with is only months in "first gen years". It's only got 360k on it now, so I figure it's just starting to get broken in anyways.
