No, anything downwind of the muffler is insignificant. Some say fumes can get into the cab but I haven't had that issue, even with the rear open.

Practicing for my career in cat theft :)

I went ahead and emailed stant to figure out what the deal was with stamped vs non stamped caps, and where I could find a stamped one.

Gonna see if they reply to a little guy like me.

Thanks @svendough, @AwesomeLaw68, @Dtax, @Scotfree, @thomasburk, @Crow41, @bismarck, @17taconut, @dtrantaco, @CaliAcadian, @rgljr831, @jneutron, @BigEasy, and all the others who wished me well… and I totally did not buy my truck for the safety features, but thank Toyota, and especially God, for them!

Yes, I went to the tow yard the following day, but I was too sore to be very effective. I didn’t have a lot of accessories on the truck, so that was good I guess. My Bakflip CS cover was broke so I didn’t bother … I did take off the running boards that came off a limited, because they did not look bent. Even my toolbox in the back was dented, but I took everything I could. The only things I didn’t take off was my Curt tow hitch, or my TRD Offroad rims (front left one was toast though). I think they’ll give me a chance to take that stuff if I still want to.

Thank you and aim so happy you were all safe! And yes, it can throw your life into turmoil.

Yes, we were definitely being watched over! Yes, the driver of the Forerunner was OK as well thankfully. That was the first thing she said to me, “praise God we’re OK.”

    Cheers!

Amen, thanks… and I’m so happy for you all also!

Drove it through Tampa to farm, got gas, then home. Washed exterior, and cleaned interior windows with vinegar n water solution. Super clean now.
