Twin ARB Engine mount; at risk of melting wiring harness?

Just mounted a twin ARB compressor in a '23 off road using the Grimm off road engine mount kit. Install went fine but I am worried about how close the fan side of the compressor is to the wire harness on the firewall. There is no direct contact between the compressor and the wiring harness currently. I will attach some pictures below. I have not installed the primary power wire harness yet.

For all of those with twin ARB compressors, does the fan side of the compressor heat up as much as the coupling? Is the heat build up on the compressor isolated to certain spots? Should I be cautious? Is there anything I could do to protect the harness?

Thanks Shaggy! How much space do you have between that wire harness and the rear of the compressor? Also, what mount are you using??

I need to fix my hood latch before I can get in to measure. But it is a GTFO Expedition mount.

Sounds good, I appreciate the response. I've wired it up and I'll keep an eye on it after a few uses.

Took a few measurements. Looks to be anywhere from 1-3" of space between the wall and the comp. I tie-wrapped my cabled to the wall along the top, so from there to my comp is about 3 inches.

All the way at the back of the wall was closer to 4 though.

Top of the engine bay opening. An inch and maybe a quarter.

But like I said. Over 3 years in that spot. The only issues I have is remembering to push the button to turn it back off, ha, and all the dust.

Nice, it looks like you have as similar gap from the compressor to the harness, so that's good to know! I'm definitely wary of the dust but I couldn't think of a more ideal spot to put it. The engine seemed to make the most practical sense to me.
