    Hey guys!

Hope y’all are having a good weekend! I just had a few questions about tire size.

I have a stock 2021 TRD Off-road and am in the market for some new wheels.

I want the TRD pro wheels in 17x8. Without trimming or lifting, would a 265/70/17 tire on that wheel fit on my truck? I am looking for zero rubbing. What is the maximum offset I can have?

next question, let’s say I do go with that tire size and wheel. Will it fit on the spare tire rack under the truck without being too close to the exhaust?

Final question. Do any of you have a place online to order the TRD wheels? I’ve seen several sites but would like to make sure I’m not ordering something funky.

    thanks guys!

TRD: Lift, Exhaust, Air Intake, Skid Plate & "Beadlock" wheels. Batman sticker. 255/85R16 Toyo MTs. Debadged. H9s.
Updated after some more research: The Tacoma TRD Pro wheels are 16x7, not 17x8.

There is a 17x7 wheel available from Toyota:
https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/product/trd-17-in-matte-black-alloy-wheel-ptr2035110bk but it only has 4 mm offset, so caveat emptor.

On the plus side, 32" OD tires fit in the spare location.

You can get aftermarket "TRD-Style" wheels in 17x8, with a variety of offsets. If you are going that route, you'll want to start using the "Search" feature.

I had 17x8.5 zero offset KMCs on my stock 2019 Off road and they rubbed the flaps with a 265/70-17. If you want to guarantee no rubbing I'd stay with an 8" or less width rim in a positive offset. The rub was minimal but it was there. Probably would have been ok without the mudflaps.

@SYota15 the TRD wheels are only 7inch wide, but the DX4 Beast and Vision replicas look just like the TRD and will accommodate the center cap. They are also 8.5 wide. With a zero offset they are a solid fit.
