I have three weeks on mine, and the vibration is minor but there between 1 - 20mph. I got 2.5 degree shims but have not installed. Hoping it will take car of it. The 51s are amazing.

Bumping this. Looking to pull the trigger on these soon. Hoping there's more installs out there already

I don't have any weight except sliders so I'll probably install at 15mm preload for now

    Great write-up!

    Any long-term use thoughts/impressions/service/maintenance/problems?

(I'm obviously on the market for a lift)

What spacers are you guys using? Anyone using the Headstrong 1/2 or 1/4?

What weight are you hauling when you're hauling - and naturally, what are your offroad settings front and rear with that weight? Installing heavy duty BP-51 setup with OME's heavy duty leaf kit on an '18 TRD Sport (new diffs and lockers coming soon). Running 33" KO2s. Thank you in advance.

I have the BP-51s on my pick-up. Icon UCAs, 285/75/16s, 1 1/4” spacers and 20mm of preload. I’m on 1 for comp and rebound all the way around. Rides very nice at speed, but the rebound seems harsh at times when rock crawling at slow speed. Anybody else have this issue? No added weight yet.

I’ve been set on bp-51’s for my 3rd gen since I’ve been wanting to get a great suspension setup and have read OME’s housing coating is a little more corrosion resistant than Kings. However I’m unlikely to do anything fast and really just want a great ride on road and occasional forest roads or semi technical Colorado or Moab trails.

Would my money be better spent elsewhere?

Anyone receive these with the preload set to almost nothing? I just got these and the preload is barely 3 mm. The instruction manual says it should have been set to 20 mm from the factory. Should i be concerned?

Hey man- great review. I know I’m late to the game here but I’ve had trouble dialing in my compression/rebound settings on mine for over a year now. I drive a lot of shitty bumpy roads and highways regularly and have a truck cap, tent and rear bumper on so trying to find a smooth and balanced ride but right now it’s super stiff and jostles around non stop on large and small bumps and pot holes. Any recs on settings? Thanks

I'm curious how these compare to Dobinsons MRR?
