O.k. I never heard of an XRunner before an emotional based purchase of this 08. Something my old age has taught me not to do. Dont get me wrong i like the truck and it was a good deal and will shake out in the end after the fit and finished project erases a few past owners boo boos.

Im interested in sticking to the originality. Here are the things that I've learned set them aside. Please add as needed

    1) 6 speed manual only
    2) fame factoty x brace
    3) rear sway bar
    4) black, red, white and blue,, exterior
    5) grey cloth interior
    6) std LSD 05 - 08. 09 up with electronic traction control
    7) 2005 - 2015 @ 15000(?) total units
    8) factory lowered 6" with unique body effects kit
    9) Title states ts an "XRunner"
    10) unique 18" 5 bolt XRunner rims
    11) concentrations around Hawaii, So. Cal., Virginia
    12)

Apparently the name comes from an x brace, very cool I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these

Just learned the rear fenders on the bed do not have the factory flare holes except to mount the lower ground trim pieces.

    UNlike these

Still likng your xrunner? Does it fell fast or fun to drive? I recently got a 08 5 lug 4cyl access cab and thinking I'd should have found one of these instead.

Although we initially bought it for a limited use tow vehicle its often driven by the wife. We're a manual transmission family. Due to "poor vision" she never liķed driving anything but small cars but now loves driving this truck. The attention, 6 speed and good overall road manners make it a fun truck to drive. She has had a clean little VW diesel 5speed pickup for years. she refuses to get rid of it but never drives it. Apparently 13 mpg is better than 40 mpg.
