...^^^... I live part-time in No. GA and part-time in Asia (married to an Asian lady - in Asia now) .... but my heart will always be in WV ... still have

many friends in Hgtn. today.

A lot of industry has left Huntington and IMO, the main thing that keeps Hgtn. alive today is Marshall.

 

I’m in ripley and we spend a lot of time down in Charleston and make our way over on 64 every now and then. If it weren’t for Marshall or WVU, the state wouldn’t have much in the way or long-term, non-industrial businesses that aren’t fast food or government.

 

Days are getting longer, and nicer.

We used to race on I-64 at "quarter mile bridge" ... IIRC ... maybe around Milton or more toward Charleston.

My cousin, who retired as a big cheese (no names given here lol) in WV State Police was a big I-64 racer as a kid ... lol

Dog (puddles) is an absolute terror on wheels but she’s coming along.

 

This is, uh troubling. A man in southern West Virginia had been missing for about a week. Monday afternoon, they found his body sitting in his Toyota pickup (model not given).

Law Enforcement officials said they were working with Toyota to locate the truck and that's how they found it.

Does Toyota have the ability to track your vehicle by GPS???

First kayaking trip of the year. Explored beautiful harpers ferry a bit!

 

Love HF, was lucky enough to live there for several years. Unfortunately they've absolutely f'd up river access from what I understand which is sad.

 

There’s still some public river access. But man I’m sure Nevada got some sweet kayaking sights!

 

It's definitely more limited than it was back in the day. There's some good boating up in the Sierra's especially after the biblical snows this past winter.

 

Got to spend a little time at our place on Point Mountain.

 

If anyone knows of somewhere not in the eastern panhandle that sells T4R TRDPs for MSRP, I’m interested. We’re looking into getting a 5th gen before they change powertrains.
