    That's too much.

You should be able to get used '17 Fox front and rear for $800-$1500 depending on the mileage, and that was when I was shopping for them 2 years ago. Since the market has been saturated with more pros, you can probably get an even better deal on takeoffs with almost no mileage. Find the guy who bought a $5k King kit and needs money ASAP.

Unfortunately, I’d say lower than that actually. Mint or under 300 mile take offs go for $2,000 in the marketplace here from what I’ve seen. You could try asking for that much in Craigslist before the marketplace here

Someone is selling a set for 1400, I didn’t know if that was a good price or not

That is a good price but it comes down to mileage and condition

If I remember correctly, these are rebuildable. I think the standard is around 50k miles before needing a rebuild? I would try to negotiate a little bit since that’s just a tad bit high for that amount of miles.

I know this thread is a tad old, but I wanted to bring it back for follow up.

Does anyone have hard dimensions of how much much lift the 3rd gen FOX PRO set up gives a 2nd gen? I just bought a set and want to plan for the back end... looking at the Wheeler 1.5" AAL, but would prefer to be level. My current leaf pack is old... 185k miles, so I am sure what ever I do, I will see some lift.

Give me 3 weeks and I will follow up with my on dimensions if no one else has any.

    Thanks!

On my 2013 DCSB, the 3rd Gen TRD Fox Coilovers netted me a measly 21” Driver’s and 21 1/4” Passenger’s measuring from center of hub to bottom of fender. I had the Icon RXT on Option 1, maybe half tank of gas, only weight in the back was my full-size spare. My measurements for the rear were about 24” so I had a mean 3” rake lol. The Fox’s were hella smooth though

Thinking about getting a set of trd pro takeoffs and wondered if you’d put yours in yet. If so what was your gain in height and how do they ride? Thanks, Jeff

Using a Wheelers 3 leaf AAL and 1/4" spacers up front I netted an even 1 5/8" on all four corners and the truck sits very level.

Put some new 265/70R17 Open Country AT3's on it as well and the truck rides amazing on and off road.

If you are looking for a tame suspension kit, with superior performance, I would highly recommend these. I am very happy with it.

Hey guys! I found a kit on craigslist and am thinking about doing this swap.

Did you need anything other than the front struts and rear shocks? Can you still use the same UCA's?

Reviving the thread here - anybody else have any feedback on installing 3rd Gen Fox Pros on their 2nd gen?

I have a 2014 Tacoma w/ Billy 5100's all around set at the 3rd perch. Wheelers AAL in the leaf pack. I'm wondering how much lift I'll see when I install a set of TRD Fox Pros from a 2022 TRD OR.

Also - would it make sense to reinstall the AAL in the TRD Pro leaf pack? I've read the Pro leaf pack is tuned differently than the stock leaf packs.

Not sure if you meant to post in the 3rd Gen forum but the Fox 2.0’s aren’t the same shock as the Fox Pros. Congrats on the upgrade either way

Scored a set of used 2020 pro Fox shocks from a fellow member last week and installed them on my 2014 this weekend. I replaced a set of stock OR 2020 bilsteins which I mounted about 2 years ago. I have a AAL in the rear for reference. Night and day difference in driving experience. It soaks up any imperfections in the road, eliminated the brake dive, corners better and stays planted in all scenarios. Couldn't be happier with the upgrade and wish I would have done it sooner.
